WHO I AM

I am a woman who hold many titles ranging from a Human Services Professional, Army Veteran, Public Notary, Mentor, Model, Motivational Speaker, Author, Pageant Queen and Director/Coach. But, in spite of those titles, I am an individual who has experienced several struggles of adversity and has been held hostage by my own fears and flaws. As a means to free myself of myself and past circumstances, I realized that there were some things that I had to grow to surpass; but, in order to grow, I had to first step outside of my comfort zone.

By stepping outside of my comfort zone and praying for direction, not only did I find the strength and courage to conquer my fears but I also found confidence within myself and my abilities; which has led me to my passion of educating females on their self-worth as well as being their advocate in regards to self-esteem and self-confidence.

I firmly believe that by building self-esteem and self-confidence, we can build character which in turns will improve the well-being and quality of life for females as well as create an environment of unity and diversity. For that reason, I have established SpoilDiva, Inc. which is a nonprofit organization that will educate girls and young ladies through educational and community awareness on issues such as teen pregnancy prevention, suicide prevention, sexual assault awareness, equality, and unity. By addressing such issues, I believe that we can help improve statistical facts in regards to the effects of low self-esteem on the world’s population. In addition, I have authored and self-published the book, The Voice of Silence: From Brokenness to Wholeness. It is through this book of poetry, that I share my journey of discovering my self-worth.

PAST & PRESENT

SpoilDiva is a non-profit empowerment organization designed to enhance the quality of life and to reinforce personal respect, self-love, and self-acceptance amongst girls and young ladies who may have low self-esteem and/or are considered less likely to succeed through the perception of social media and/or society as well as to encourage unity and diversity.

In 2014, Jessica's success story was used as the River Region United Way Agency Impact Story for Lighthouse Counseling Center’s Standing Together Against Rape (STAR) program.

As a means to challenge herself, not to compete with other women but to step outside of her comfort zone, Jessica has participated in the Miss Plus America Pageant, Ms Full-Figured DMV Pageant, and the America's Select Veterans Pageant with Royal Productions. As a result, Jessica has held the title Miss Alabama Plus America 2015 and currently holds the national title, Miss America's Select Veteran 2022-2023. Through the inspiration of her non-profit organization, Jessica's platform is Building Confidence by Conquering Fear: Rediscovering the 'I' in Idenity and finding the 'U' in your Value.

In 2014, Jessica signed with Chinadoll's Modeling Agency in Montgomery, AL as a Plus-Size model in the efforts of promoting self-esteem and self-confidence within plus-size and full-figured women.
